Health and fitness


 Term health and fitness are often used interchangeably these days, but yes, both concept are different , even though they do interacts

       Health - over all status of a person being in good health implies being free from illness or desease, and not suffering from any impairment or pain. It is rather obscure, but being healthy does not mean that you are fit. Health can be affected by many things - food, environment, disease etc. 

Fitness - on the other hand, is more a measure of the amount of physical capability than a measure of wellbeing.                                     Fitness is almost entirely a result of action, food and drink can influence fitness. But yes the right way of increasing fitness is through exercise. And increasing your fitness has been shown to boost health is so many different ways- reduction in risk of cardiovascular disease.
